We want to share some awesome videos this week about the distillation process. Young Living held a retreat for the diamond-level leaders this week, and they got to visit the partner farm in Seville, Spain. They distill Cistus, Myrrh, and Frankincense on this farm! While there, the Diamond folks got to see Frankincense distilled, help harvest some Cistus (Rose of Sharon), and see that distilled! THIS is what sets YL apart from ALL other oil companies. We grow & distill our own plants!! Amaaaazing! Check out these videos for all the action!

Our own Sera Johnson (she’s part of our leadership team), got to participate in the Frankincense distillation! Check out the videos in this POST to share in her excitement! Frankincense was Sera’s “Ah Ha!” oil, so it’s a personal favorite of hers. Here’s what she had to say about this experience:
“I HELPED DISTILL FRANKINCENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was HUGE for me!!! Frankincense (A.K.A. Boswellia Carteri) was the FIRST Young Living Essential Oil I smelled! I grabbed it FIRST from my Premium Starter Kit as soon as I opened the box 13 years ago!
I have ALWAYS wanted to see it being hydrodistilled!
And today, we went to the distillery in Spain that distills our Boswellia Carteri that is shipped in from Somalia!!!
The smell was PHENOMENAL!!!
And the process looked NOTHING like I imagined! (no, that is not a giant milkshake! 😂)
I LOVE being able to smell and use EVERYDAY what Jesus smelled and used for His wellness! AND what the priests ate every Sabbath. AND what those entering the tabernacle smelled as they walked in the door.
